Part one of a triptych.
The original concept is based on a phenomena called Sleep Paralysis. I´ve experienced it many times since I was a kid.
Google it and you will find the scientific explanation for it. Maybe you´re one of us?...

I love all the manips you made with music instruments, it reminds me a lot of the "perfect drug" clip of Nine inch nails (inspired by Coppola's Dracula). A touch of darkness/sadness but we can still see beauty in it.
alien abduction? I've had it too, a few times but never exprienced hallucinations or some other things I've read about, sounds spooky anyway, I really like your style, way of blending and use of textures fine work
Hauntingly beautiful, man. I don't like putting my own stuff on other people's pages, but it really reminds me of this girl I met in London -- like you found her, and aged her for this piece. You can see why I think so if you'd like, here --> Pigtails from roses
My favorite portion of your shot is the curvature of the bow at the end... such a nice touch to an already stunning imagae!
amazing work. i think you should sell some prints!
and i've had bouts of sleep paralysis since i was about 8. its down to about once a year now. used to be every other night. only happens when i sleep on my back. something about the position of my neck. probably that pesky medula oblongata. knew i shouldve gotten that removed.
I have always been fasinated by this sleep paralysis or 'old hag' syndrom. It is hard to see but that is what my avitar is. Although the experience leaves me disturbed, for some strange reason, I still find it alluring. Another myterious phenomena is night terrors. My nephew suffers with them. His eyes are wide open and he appears to be awake but he is inside living a nightmare. It just freaks me out!! Beautiful work by the way.
